A cacophony of noiseAlex is a composer, solo artist, and musician from Ontario, Canada. Rather than simply creating a musical accompaniment, Alex aims to translate the world through music, seamlessly bridging the gap between the aural and the visual. Alex’s approach to composition is truly a cacophony of noise.Alex’s eclectic compositional style focusses heavily on storytelling while drawing from a wide range of influences (Metallica, Mick Gordon, Akira Yamaoka, Hans Zimmer, Austin Wintory) and musical styles (metal, electronic, ambient, jazz, orchestral).Atmosphere plays a key part in Alex’s compositions paying great attention to the environment they are inspired by and a part of. Never satisfied with status quo, exploration and experimentation is integral to Alex’s style. Alex is always looking for inspiration from new musical styles and composition techniques.
